Indeed, it’s time for an update. If you’ve been watching my recent streams, you might have noticed a significant change in their presentation.
Yes, I’ve become a VTuber (and no, not a surgeon, for those familiar with the memes)! All credit goes to the incredibly talented Katzyyy. Not only is he a fellow streamer and content creator, but he’s also skilled in 3D graphic design. He faced the considerable task of creating my VTuber avatar, a reimagined version of my Second Life avatar, which he meticulously crafted from scratch, using the SL avatar as a base.
He’s done a fantastic job, and I’m thrilled with the result.
I’m currently using a Gen 1 Leap Motion device, but I plan to upgrade to the Gen 2 2023 model for even more precise arm and hand tracking. The Gen 1 model is quite decent, but as they say, good things come to those who wait, so patience is key.
In the last stream, I took on the crime-ridden streets of Detroit City as our fearless hero RoboCop (or Robomayne in the ven0mEX universe), and we completed the game. It was a great success! I’m excited to return to it with the New Game Plus campaign, starting with all the upgrades and items from the first playthrough, plus some new additions.
