So I tried to make a comeback, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. So what happened with me? Well my emotions got the better of me initially it was my late sister birthday, and I forgot it was. My sister mentioned it in chat, and I just went to pieces.
Usually I wouldn’t explain this level of detail, but I feel some transparency is important here for all of you that support me on Twitch. After that, believe it or not, my asthma came at me with a vengeance. It’s sooo frustrating as my asthma has been under control for a good few years now, and for it to just “activate” with no trigger, or warning, was most disheartening.
So I was back on my inhalers for a few weeks and slowly but surely my breathing was back under control. Very very strange, but hey, the human body is weird like that I suppose.
So after I had fully recovered, I started to strategize my return to Twitch. I knew for a fact that getting back to Pirate Yakuza would be a good option, so that was the first step of the ladder. But lo and behold, some real life stuff happened with my finances and totally sidelined me again. It’s like the old saying goes, when you are waiting for a bus for hours and hours, a whole pack of em turn up in one go lol.
So it’s been a mixed bag of health, mental stress and emotional issues. I am so sorry I have not been around, but I feel like I am ready to get back into the swing of things.
Somethings to mention though on how my streams are going to go. As much as I hate to do it, but I have to switch my streams back to raids off. This is of course not because I have issues with people raiding me, it’s just that I feel that my mental health could be better. Although being raided with lots of viewers (you never know, it does happen) would be an honor under normal circumstances, but in this instance, my panic levels would hit an all time high. I also have raidsoff as a hashtag in my title so ppl have a lil heads up on the fact.
So that’s it in a nutshell a very cut down version of the streamer absence.
So back to it then!! The streaming agenda for now, is to get back into Pirate Yakuza, which you may of noticed yesterday I streamed a little of. Sadly it seems the PC port of this game does have some serious issues going on. The most game impacting one is the random crashes. The not so bad issue is the incredibly high lumanince factor on the game. The HDR implementation is totally broken. Thankfully PcGamingWiki has some good advice on how to this this with a 3rd party patch of sorts. RenoDx to the rescue!
Due to the nature of the random crashes on the game, the next stream I have a backup plan put into place. Because Pirate Yakuza crashed 4 times during the last stream, I feel it could get worse. So if it gets more frequent, I got Days Gone ready to take over if it gets bad.
