Sadly version 1 of sp00mb0t has met an untimely demise. sp00mb0t v1 resided on Oracle Clouds free tier and has been plagued with problems since day one. This is not the fault of Oracle at all, as their micro VPS on the free tier, is meant for low-resource tasks only, and sp00mb0t is powered by Java, which needs quite a bit of resources to function adequately.
For this reason, I decided to retire sp00mb0t and rebuild him on a paid platform, via Akamai’s data centers. So this means, all the customizations are now gone, which includes the custom commands, and custom media command triggers. It’s a shame yes, but I’d rather not risk taking the backup from v1 at Oracle over to Akami, I feel there could be bugs on that backup.
Anyway, that’s why it’s all gone. RIP sp00m v1, and three cheers for the new and improved sp00m v2.
Over time, I will re-add all the goodies that sp00m v1 had.
So now you know, over and out.
